As a charity run preschool we are managed by a committee of parents, carers and people from our local community. The roles and responsibilities are wide and varied and vary widely in the amount of commitment needed. Whatever your experience or interests you could be part of the committee and make a difference by supporting the education of your child.
The committee usually meets once per half term.
The role of the committee is to support staff to fulfil their roles and make decisions that are best for the preschool community. This support is vital for the sustainability of the preschool , both financially and as part of the community. They agree our policies, manage staff and work hard to fundraise and promote us in the local area, ensuring our future and helping us be the best we can be.
If you are interested in joining the committee please speak to a member of staff who will put you in touch with our chair. In line with Ofsted regulations you will need to obtain DBS and EY2 checks.
We believe in working together – we value your contribution as the expert on your child. We operate an open door policy and welcome parents and carers into the setting. We firmly believe a successful partnership with parents strengthens your child’s experience at preschool.
